Marcy McGuigan to Join the Nutty Nuns of Off-Broadway's The Divine Sister

Marcy McGuigan will join the cast of off-Broadway's The Divine Sister as Sister Walburga. McGuigan will take over the role on April 9, replacing original star Alison Fraser who will play her final performance on April 8 at the Soho Playhouse.
McGuigan's New York theater credits include Shanghai Moon, Meet Me in St. Louis, It's Not My Fault, Swingtime Canteen and Box Office of the Damned. She also toured nationally with 42nd Street.
A loving spoof of classic religious films, Charles Busch's The Divine Sister opened on September 22, 2010. Directed by Carl Andress, the production also stars Busch, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker and Julie Halston.
