Broadway Vet Richard H. Blake to Play Fiyero in Wicked

Richard H. Blake will join the Broadway cast of Wicked in the role of the rakish Fiyero beginning March 29. He takes over the part from Kyle Dean Massey, who is set to depart on March 27 to star in the new musical Lucky Guy at off-Broadway's Little Shubert Theatre.

Blake joins the Broadway cast straight from the Wicked national tour. His Broadway credits include Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer, Hairspray, Aida, Saturday Night Fever, Rent, Prince of Central Park, Macbeth and The Sound of Music His film and TV credits include The Babysitter’s Club, All My Children, Toonces and Friends and Red Light August.

The Broadway cast of Wicked currently includes Teal Wicks as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as the Wizard, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, Etai BenShlomo as Boq and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.
