T.V. Carpio has returned the role of villainous Arachne in Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. Carpio left the production after suffering an onstage injury on March 16, and the role was played by her understudy, America Olivo, for just over two weeks. Caprio hopped back into the show on April 1 at the Foxwoods Theatre and will continue to appear at all performances.
Featuring music by U2's Bono and The Edge, Spider-Man is currently in previews at the Foxwoods Theatre under the supervision of new director Philip William McKinley. The show will go on hiatus on April 17, with performances scheduled to resume on May 12. Opening night is now scheduled for June 14. The production also stars Reeve Carney as Peter Parker, Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane Watson and Patrick Page as Norman Osborn.
