Though she spends her evenings High (er, starring in Matthew Lombardo’s new play about addiction and forgiveness) Kathleen Turner got up bright and early to stop in for a chat with Good Morning America on April 8. After a glance back through Turner’s most famous roles in films like Body Heat and Romancing the Stone—not to mention the voice of Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?—the conversation got down to the business of Broadway. Turner discussed playing High's Sister Jamison Connelly, a foul-mouthed, recovering alcoholic nun who struggles to help 19-year-old hustler Cody Randall (played by Evan Jonigkeit) come back from the brink of meth addiction. The husky-voiced actress went on to cover ground like doing her own film stunts, what it’s like to define “sexy” for a generation and why she suspects that onstage nudity is slightly more difficult for male actors than female.
