Tony Winner Michael Cerveris & Gossip Girl's Connor Paolo Preview Vampire Flick Stake Land

Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris will hit the big screen on April 22 in Stake Land, a horror film that already won the “Midnight Madness Audience Award” at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival. Cerveris plays the juicily named Jebedia Loven, head of a fundamentalist militia at a time when vampirism in America has reached epidemic levels. On April 12, Cerveris and Stake Land’s young hero Connor Paolo (best known as Eric van der Woodsen on TV’s Gossip Girl) headlined an event at Planet Hollywood in Times Square, donating a couple of stakes (what else?) to the eatery’s memorabilia collection. Broadway.com got a hot shot of the twosome, who’ll soon be battling assorted ravenous beasts and bloodsuckers in a theater near you.
