Tony Award winners Matthew Broderick and Anika Noni Rose will announce the nominees for the 2011 Tony Awards on May 3 at the Lincoln Center branch of the New York Public Library. The 65th annual Tony ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from the Beacon Theatre on June 12.
Broderick is a two-time Tony winner for Brighton Beach Memoirs and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and received a Tony nomination for The Producers. Rose is a Tony winner for the musical Caroline, or Change.
There’s no word yet on who will host the Tony telecast. The awards have moved from Radio City Music Hall to make way for a new Cirque du Soleil show, Zarkana.
