Two years after their acclaimed Broadway performances, the original foursome of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage are together again, starring in the Tony-winning play’s Los Angeles premiere at the Ahmanson Theatre. Tony winner Marcia Gay Harden and Tony nominees James Gandolfini, Hope Davis and Jeff Daniels play Brooklyn parents whose “friendly” dinner to solve an issue between their kids devolves into a darkly comic domestic battle. The opening night performance on April 13 drew A-listers including Gina Gershon, Anjelica Huston, Sandra Oh and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Also on the scene: Gandolfini’s The Mexican co-star Brad Pitt and his longtime love, Angelina Jolie. We’re assuming America’s most famous parents didn’t get any useful tips from God of Carnage, but we’re sure they had a great night in the theater!
