Jane Lynch to Join Sean Hayes & Chris Diamantopoulos in The Three Stooges

Glee star Jane Lynch has signed on to play Mother Superior in the forthcoming feature film The Three Stooges, according to Deadline.com. The Emmy-winning actress will join Tony nominee Sean Hayes, stage vet Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso as the title trio in the comedy from writer/directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly.

Lynch’s role is described as a nun who runs the orphanage where the stooges grow up, despite her best efforts to get them adopted. Hayes will play Larry Fine, with Diamontopoulos as Moe and Sasso as Curly.

Production is scheduled to begin in May for The Three Stooges, which will be released by 20th Century Fox.
