The morning the Tony nominations are announced, phones start ringing off the hook for the happy few who get nods. As usual, Broadway.com is among the callers offering congratulations and getting responses. Here are the first reactions from 2011 Tony nominees. Congrats to all!

Nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Play, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo
"I found out the big news in the most boring way, to be honest: I watched it online. I gotta say, it was amazing but it was very, very bittersweet because I really wanted [Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo] to get a Best Play nomination. It’s an important piece of theater and art, but I’m excited to be nominated for sure. It’s happened so quickly, I haven’t really had time to process it yet. I am proud to share this with military soldiers across the world and displaced people of war because really it’s a story about that and less about me. [My co-stars] were just very, very thrilled. Robin Williams called me, he’s like, 'Man, congrats bro! Congrats!' It was very cool to get a call from Robin Williams. I haven’t even thought about the ceremony and other events. I’m only thinking about how I’m going to return all these phone calls!"
