No one can say Matthew Morrison doesn’t have a talent for picking duet partners! The Broadway vet and Glee star's self-titled debut CD, set for release on May 10, will include a duet with Sting, according to EW.com. The pop icon joins previously announced collaborations between Morrison and Elton John (a medley from Honky Chateau) and Gwyneth Paltrow (“Over the Rainbow”).
“I am happy to confirm that the final duet on my album is with one of my icons, a musical genius, Sting,” Morrison said in a statement. “I was honored that he agreed to do the duet and allow me to sing with him on one of his most incredible songs, ‘Let Your Soul Be My Pilot.’”
In addition, Morrison has selected “Still Got Tonight,” a song by American Idol season eight winner Kris Allen, as the CD’s second single, following “Summer Rain.”
