Broadway couple Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley will debut a new show, “He Said/She Said” during their debut engagement at the Café Carlyle in New York. Mazzie and Danieley are set to headline the Upper East Side cabaret venue from May 10 to May 21.
“He Said/She Said” is described as a hot-hearted, cool-headed musical conversation between lovers featuring new arrangements of tunes by swinging composers such as Jimmy Van Heusen, Johnny Mercer, Dorothy Fields, Harold Arlen and Sammy Cahn. Included in the program are Great American Songbook staples such "All The Way," "Something's Gotta Give," "A Fine Romance" and "The Tender Trap.”
Mazzie and Danieley most recently co-starred in the Broadway musical Next to Normal. She is a Tony nominee for Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime and Passion and has appeared on Broadway in Enron, Spamalot, Man of LaMancha and Into the Woods. Danieley’s Broadway credits include Curtains and The Full Monty.
