Fox has picked up the previously announced pilot I Hate My Teenage Daughter starring two-time Tony winner Katie Finneran for its fall season, according to EW.com. No air date has been announced for the series.
I Hate My Teenage Daughter stars Finneran and Jaime Pressly as two women unhappy to see that their daughters are shaping up to be just like the teenagers who tormented them in high school.
Finneran received Tony Awards for Promises, Promises and Noises Off. Her other Broadway credits include Mauritius, The Iceman Cometh, Cabaret, Proposals, The Heiress, In the Summer House, My Favorite Year and Two Shakespearean Actors. Finneran also recently starred in the New York Philharmonic's staging of Company. She previously appeared on Fox's series Wonderfalls and The Inside.
