A Month of Mormon Day 2: Trey Parker and Matt Stone Talk 'Happy-Go-Lucky Mormons'

Broadway.com's daily The Book of Mormon video series is back for day two as the show's composers Trey Parker and Matt Stone recount the show's creation. Despite being known for South Park's crude humor, the duo are life-long musical fans of classic Rodgers and Hammerstein shows. The cheery disposition of iconic musical theater characters reminded the comedians of  Mormon attitudes they were surrounded by growing up.
