A starry list of presenters for the 2011 Tony Awards telecast has been announced. The celebs that will present include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying headliner Daniel Radcliffe, The Motherf**ker With the Hat's Chris Rock, 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin and more.
Other announced presenters include Catherine Zeta-Jones (a Tony winner last year for A Little Night Music), Whoopi Goldberg (a nominee for producing Sister Act), Samuel L. Jackson (the upcoming The Mountaintop), Kelsey Grammer (most recently of Broadway's La Cage aux Folles), Viola Davis (a winner last year for Fences), Vanessa Redgrave (a nominee for Driving Miss Daisy), James Earl Jones (Driving Miss Daisy), Harry Connick, Jr., Christie Brinkley (Chicago), Tony winner David Hyde Pierce, Marg Helgenberger, Tony winner Matthew Broderick, Tony winner Angela Lansbury, Jim Parsons (The Normal Heart), Joel Grey (a nominee for co-directing The Normal Heart), Patrick Wilson and Robert Morse.
As previously announced, Neil Patrick Harris will host the 65th annual Tony Awards telecast, which will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre on June 12. The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
