The streets of New York’s East Village flooded with movers and shakers when off-Broadway hit Stomp, which has called the Orpheum Theatre home since 1994, held an open call for new talent. The high energy show is an explosion of dance and percussion that finds the rhythm in everyday items like trash can lids, broom sticks, matchbooks, even Zippo lighters, and Stomp creator Luke Cresswell was on hand to see these hopefuls give it their all.
