A summer treat is on tap for off-Broadway audiences: The Illusion, Tony Kushner’s freely adapted version of the classic play by Pierre Corneille. The production, which caps off Signature Theatre Company’s all-Kushner season, is directed by Michael Mayer and features an exciting cast including Nurse Jackie star Merritt Wever and stage vets Lois Smith and Peter Bartlett.
