Tony Winner Idina Menzel Goes Country with 'Always On My Mind' in Nashville

When you think country music, Idina Menzel might not be the first name to come to mind, but the Tony winner adopted the genre in her June 7 tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee, also known as Music City and one of the homes of country music. The Broadway favorite followed in the footsteps of her Wicked co-star Kristin Chenoweth, who recently released the music video for her first country single, by performing a stirring rendition of the country standard "Always On My Mind." Though versions by Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson are most recognizable to many music listeners, we think Idina's version has a chance of becoming a classic in its own right!
