Broadway vet Aaron Lazar is bringing an evening of romantic songs to Feinstein’s at Loews Regency on June 19 and 20. His show, For Lovers Only, will feature new arrangements of classic love songs by composers including Adam Guettel, Richard Rodgers, Bruno Mars, Jason Robert Brown, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim and others. The show will feature musical director Jeff Klitz on piano, Bernd Schoenhart on guitar and special guest vocalist Capathia Jenkins.
Lazar has appeared in seven Broadway shows, including The Light in the Piazza, A Little Night Music, A Tale of Two Cities, Impressionism and Les Miserables. Most recently, Lazar made his New York Philharmonic debut in the concert staging of Stephen Sondheim's Company alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert and Patti LuPone, which will be shown in movie theaters nationwide beginning June 15.
