The Montreal-based performance troupe 7 Fingers will bring its acrobatic show Traces to off-Broadway's Union Square Theatre this summer. Performances will begin July 29, with opening night set for August 8. The 10-week engagement will play its final performance on October 9.
Traces is described as a theatrical experience in which "the human body is pushed to its limits as a group of friends leave their mark in a run-down warehouse through acrobatics, music and dance. Fusing the traditions of circus with the energy of street performance, Traces is an explosive display of raw emotion and physicality in an intimate urban setting."
The production is directed and choreographed by Shana Carroll and Gypsy Snider and performed by Mason Ames, Valerie Benoit-Charbonneau, Mathieu Cloutier, Bradley Henderson, Phillipe Normand-Jenny, Xia Zhengqi, Florian Zumkehr, Heloise Bourgeois, Sen Lin and William Underwood.
