Tony Winner Marissa Jaret Winokur Talks Kissing Nick Jonas in Her Hairspray Return

Welcome (back) to the '60s! Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur is returning to her Hairspray roots by reprising the role of music-loving teenager Tracy Turnblad in the Hollywood Bowl's production of the Tony-winning musical, which will run August 5-7. On July 28, Winokur stopped by Good Day LA to talk about reuniting with her original Broadway co-star Harvey Fierstein, as well as romancing her new Link Larkin, 18-year-old Nick Jonas. "It's very John Waters," she cracks, referencing the off-center director of the original Hairspray film. Winokur also discussed her other famous co-stars (John Stamos! Drew Carey!), her brief stint as a blonde and her adorable three year-old son, Zev. Take a look below.
