Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett are readying to hit the Broadway stage in Katori Hall's The Mountaintop, where Jackson will play Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Performances don't begin until September 22, but the A-list performers recently came together for a photo shoot to promote the compelling drama. During their breaks Jackson and Bassett chatted about how excited they are to call Broadway home again. Jackson even noted the show will mark the first time he's performed in a play in over 15 years. "There's no sweetening or restarts," he said comparing theater to film. So what will happen if Jackson gets stage fright? "Just keep making it up and see where you catch up, as long as you don't make it to the end up the play," he cracked. Take a look at what the talented movie stars had to say and be sure to catch The Mountaintop at the Jacobs Theatre this fall.
