Tickets Now on Sale for the Broadway Bow of Venus in Fur, Starring Tony Nominee Nina Arianda

Ready for a sexy, thought provoking evening on Broadway? Look no further than Venus in Fur, featuring a breakthrough performance from Nina Arianda, a 2011 Tony nominee for Born Yesterday. Tickets are now on sale for Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of this quirky comedy by David Ives, directed by Tony winner Walter Bobbie (Chicago). Previews begin on October 13 at the Samuel J. Venus in Fur goes behind the scenes at an audition, where a man and a woman blur the lines between fantasy and reality, seduction and power, love and sex. Portraying an actress named Vanda, Arianda arrives at the audition studio with a bag filled with S&M gear and period costumes. Soon, the playwright joins her in reading his own script, which touches on themes of domination and the nature of attraction.
