Theatrical couple Sam Trammell and Missy Yager welcomed twin boys on August 10. The babies, whose names have not been revealed, are the first children for the True Blood star and his girlfriend of eight years.
Trammell, 40, and Yager, 43, met in New York when both were concentrating on stage acting. He received a 1998 Tony nomination and Theatre World Award for Ah, Wilderness! and starred off-Broadway in Dealer’s Choice, My Night With Reg, If Memory Serves, Kit Marlow and Rope. Trammell is now in his fourth season as bar-owning shape-shifter Sam Merlotte on True Blood.
Yager appeared on Broadway in the 1997 revival of The Diary of Anne Frank and off-Broadway in Laura Dennis and two plays by Kenneth Lonergan, This Is Our Youth and The Starry Messenger.
