It seems that Daniel Radcliffe’s star performance in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying may inspire an entire generation of young actors to try their luck on stage. First, Radcliffe’s Harry Potter pal Emma Watson (Hermione) confessed her desire to act on Broadway, and now Tom Felton (bad boy Draco Malfoy) is thinking the same thing.
“I saw Daniel about a week ago and I was completely blown away,” Felton is quoted as saying on fansshare.com. “He really does excel. It’s amazing, as well, how in one second, you see Harry Potter and he’s completely gone within a minute; you’re just looking at someone else. He’s doing a great job in shaking any previous attachment to his character. So, yeah. It’s definitely something that I’d like to do.”
In addition to the worldwide smash hit Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Felton can currently be seen on the big screen alongside James Franco and Freida Pinto in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
