Pop singer and Broadway vet Nick Jonas will assume the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in the hit Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on January 24, 2012. The announcement was made by director/choreographer Rob Ashford at a September 7 press conference at Sardi’s. How to Succeed original star Daniel Radcliffe will depart the production on New Year’s Day, with Glee cast member Darren Criss assuming the lead role from January 3 through 22.
"It's official. I'm coming back to Broadway," Jonas commented via Twitter once the announcement was made. He added, "So excited and honored to play the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying next year!"
Jonas, who will turn 19 on September 16, most recently played Link Larkin in the Hollywood Bowl concert production of Hairspray and Marius in the London production of Les Miserables, appearing in the show’s 25th anniversary concert. He made his Broadway debut as Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun in 2001 and appeared on Broadway as Chip in Beauty and the Beast and Gavroche in Les Miserables. He played Tiny Tim in the MSG production of A Christmas Carol and Kurt in a Paper Mill Playhouse revival of The Sound of Music.
Alongside brothers Joe and Kevin, Jonas reached worldwide success as the Jonas Brothers, including platinum-certified albums, sold-out world tours and the Disney Channel TV show Jonas L.A. and film Camp Rock. In 2009, he formed a side project band, Nick Jonas and the Administration, and released the album Who I Am, which went to number three on the Billboard Top 200.

In addition to Radcliffe, the production currently stars Tony winner John Larroquette as J.B. Biggley, Rose Hemingway as Rosemary Pilkington, Tammy Blanchard as Hedy La Rue, Christopher J.
