For his Broadway directorial debut, film star John Turturro is tackling three original plays by award-winning writers Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen. Relatively Speaking, which is about the lighter and darker sides of family relationships, is gearing up to begin performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on September 20 and open on October 20. In anticipation of the Broadway bow, Turturro and his all-star cast headed to Sardi’s on September 9 to spend the morning chatting up reporters and posing for photos. The 15 actors (as pictured above: Katherine Borowitz, Caroline Aaron, Steve Guttenberg, Julie Kavner, Fred Melamed, Jason Kravits, Danny Hoch, Mark Linn-Baker, Bill Army, Grant Shaud, Patricia O'Connell, Ari Graynor, Turturro, Marlo Thomas, Lisa Emery and Richard Libertini) may be performing in different plays in Relatively Speaking, but this self-described dysfunctional family was delighted to get together for a full family pic.
