Tickets are now available for Asuncion, a new play written by and starring Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland) alongside The Hangover's Justin Bartha, Remy Auberjonois and Camille Mana. Performances for the Kip Fagan-directed production begin October 12 at off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre, with opening night set for October 27.
The play follows two roommates named Edgar and Vinny. Edgar runs a blog condemning American imperialism and Vinny is three-quarters into a Ph.D. in Black Studies. When a young Filipina woman named Asuncion becomes their new roommate, the pair have a perfect opportunity to demonstrate how open minded they truly are.
Asuncion is part of the Rattlesnake Theatre's 2011-2102 season.
