What is Sesame Street’s version of a Glee club? A “G” club, of course! The beloved children’s show is starting its 42nd season on September 26, and they’ve channeled the FOX hit in a spot-on Glee-inspired tribute to the letter G. See all your favorite Glee characters in puppet form, from a hair-tossing Rachel gazing longingly at puppet Finn to a track-suited Sue squaring off with puppet Mr. Schue, er, Goo, complete with chin-dimple. In true Glee fashion, there is a showdown between Sue’s Gee-rios and the G Club. Does G make a sound like “gasp” and “gorgeous,” like puppet Kurt says? Or is it g as in “gyrate,” as muppet Brittany thinks? They sort it out in a sing off of Glee’s signature song, “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this.
