Comedian Judy Gold's solo show The Judy Show has extended through November 27 at off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre. The limited engagement, which has already received one extension, was originally scheduled to run through September 10.
Co-written with Gold's 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother collaborator Kate Moira Ryan, The Judy Show follows the two-time Emmy winner as she reveals everything that's truly funny about her life through the lens of the classic sitcoms of our youth.
Directed by Amanda Charlton, The Judy Show began performances on June 30 and opened on July 7. The show features original music by Gold with lyrics by Ryan and Gold. Additional material was provided by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith.
