Ticket are now on sale for J.T. Rogers' Blood and Gifts, starring Tony winner Jefferson Mays, at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, performances begin on October 27, with opening night set for November 21.
Blood and Gifts tells the story of the secret spy war behind the official Soviet-Afghan War of the 1980s. Spanning a decade and playing out in Washington D.C., Pakistan and Afghanistan, the play follows CIA operative Jim Warnock as he struggles to stop the Soviet Army's destruction of Afghanistan and tells the story of the unknown men who shaped one of the greatest historical events in recent history.
The cast also includes Jeremy Davidson as Jim Warnock as well as Michael Aronov, Andres Munar, Paul Niebanck, John Proccacino, Liv Rooth, Gabriel Ruiz, Pej Vahdat, Andrew Weems and Bernard White.
