The first-ever Broadway revival of Terence Rattigan’s Man and Boy opens on October 9, starring three-time Tony winner Frank Langella. Maria Aitken directs the Roundabout Theatre Company production, which is running at the American Airlines Theatre.
In Man and Boy, Langella stars as Gregor Antonescu, a powerful 1930s financier whose musician son becomes a socialist to rebel against his father's greed and corruption. As a scandal threatens Antonescu with disgrace and financial ruin, he will go to any length to save himself, including exploiting his son’s deep-seated need for a relationship.
Joining Langella on stage are Adam Driver as Basil Anthony, Francesca Faridany as Countess Antonescu, Zach Grenier as Mark Herries, Brian Hutchison as David Beeston, Virginia Kull as Carol Penn and Michael Siberry as Sven Johnson. Head to the American Airlines Theatre to see this unconventional family drama on stage.
