Weekend Poll Top Three: Fans Rank Dream Roles for Memphis Star Adam Pascal

As Tony nominee Adam Pascal gets ready for his October 25 debut in Memphis, Broadway.com asked readers what other role in a current Broadway musical they'd like to see Pascal tackle after his run as deejay Huey Calhoun. Take a look at the results below!

1. Stacee Jaxx (Rock of Ages) - 24%
Pascal kickstarted his career playing Roger, an aspiring musician in the Tony-winning musical Rent, and fans would love to see him get back to his rock roots as Rock of Ages superstar Stacee Jaxx. The role was originated on Broadway by James Carpinello, and Tom Cruise is set to take on the famous frontman in the upcoming Rock of Ages film adaptation.

2. Fiyero (Wicked) - 23%
Pascal should have no problem taking on Oz's hunky prince since he already has experience as stage royalty after playing Radames, the Egyptian army captain and heir to the throne, in the musical Aida. Pascal's original Rent co-star Idina Menzel even earned a Tony Award for originating the role of Fiyero's love interest, Elphaba.

3. The Phantom (The Phantom of the Opera) - 13%
Pascal has previously expressed interest in playing the title role in Broadway's longest-running musical, The Phantom of the Opera. "I wanted to play the Phantom terribly—I still do actually," Pascal told Broadway.com in 2007. "I went in and sang for them. I have to say I sang great, but the part is not available." Here's hoping someday Pascal gets his wish!
