Class Is In Session! Performances Begin for Seminar, Starring Alan Rickman

Stage and screen star Alan Rickman is set to return to Broadway for the first time in a decade on October 27, when Theresa Rebeck’s Seminar begins previews at the Golden Theatre. This world premiere comedy, directed by Sam Gold, will have its official opening on November 20.

Cast as a celebrated novelist, Rickman will go head to head with writing students played by movie favorite Jerry O’Connell, Tony nominee Lily Rabe, Hamish Linklater and Hettienne Park. These ambitious young aspiring novelists pay big bucks to Rickman’s character for expert advice—but who knows if they’ll survive their seminar?
