Hugh Jackman might as well sing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow”: The northeast’s unwelcome October 29 snowstorm didn’t put a damper on Jackman’s Broadway concert run. With a total gross of $1,210,974 for the first eight previews of Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, the Aussie star jumped onto the frontrunners’ list and set a house record at the Broadhurst Theatre. Most shows saw their numbers drop from the previous week, but buoyed by a good review from The New York Times, newcomer Relatively Speaking gained $50,000 for a healthy total of $741,903.
