Candy and Booze are Among Anything Goes Star Colin Donnell’s Backstage Staples

It’s hard work charming Broadway audiences! What keeps Anything Goes dreamboat Colin Donnell going eight shows a week? The actor, who plays smooth stowaway Billy Crocker in the show, welcomed Broadway.com into his backstage digs at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre to tell us just how he does it. Donnell showed off his pre-show necessities (hair gel + hair dryer = “a head of hard hair”), mid-show treats (his very own candy machine) and post-show rewards (a truly top-shelf whiskey collection). Of course, he also has some all-the-time favorites, like a photo of his brand new nephew and his prized sleepin’ couch, complete with blackout curtain.
