Things are getting hot off-Broadway as Thomas Bradshaw’s Burning hits the boards at the Acorn Theatre. The New Group production features Broadway veterans Hunter Foster, Danny Mastrogiorgio and more in an ensemble cast that tells interweaving stories; one of a contemporary black painter who hides his race and one of a homeless teenager who comes to New York in the 1980s to become an actor and is taken in by two gay men.
