The Muppets are readying for their big comeback with the November 23 release of a brand new feature film, The Muppets. In honor of everyone's favorite puppet crew, Broadway.com is flashing back to a series of our favorite Broadway Muppet Moments, in which Kermit and his fuzzy friends tackle classic show tunes and more. As Hugh Jackman readies for opening night of his solo show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre, we're reliving the Muppets' take on a song Jackman knows well: Peter Allen's "I Go to Rio." Jackman scored a Tony Award for playing the Aussie singer/songwriter in 2003's The Boy From Oz, in which he performed the catchy tune. (Jackman reprises his performance of the song his current show, during a salute to Allen.) Take a look below as the Muppets hit the beach for the bouncy number, then check out Jackman and his rendition of the song in The Boy From Oz.
