Tony winner Daisy Eagan will join returning cast members Myra Lucretia Taylor, Sonia Manzano and Loretta Swit as part of the December cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore at off-Broadway's Westside Theatre. They begin performances December 7 and will remain with the production through December 30. On January 2, the same cast will launch the show's national tour at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in Scottsdale, AZ. A fifth cast member will be announced shortly.
Eagan earned a Tony Award for The Secret Garden and has also appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and James Joyce's The Dead. Taylor's Broadway credits include Nine, Macbeth, Electra, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, MuleBone and A Streetcar Named Desire. Manzano is best known for playing Maria on TV's Sesame Street. Her stage work includes Godspell, The Vagina Monologues and The Exonerated. Swit is best known as Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan of TV's M*A*S*H. She has appeared on Broadway in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Same Time, Next Year.
Following its premiere in Scottsdale, the national tour of Love, Loss and What I Wore will play the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in Tampa, FL (January 10-15), the Parker Playhouse in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (January 17-22), the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte, NC (January 24-29) and the Gem Theatre in Detroit, MI (February 7-March 4). Additional cities will be announced at a later date.
