Glee star Lea Michele makes her film debut in Garry Marshall’s latest holiday-themed romantic comedy, New Year’s Eve, which opens December 9. Like Bette Midler and Barbra Streisand before her, Michele will show off her vocals with a rendition of “Auld Lang Syne,” reportedly accompanying the film's credits.
Michele is among the who's who of Hollywood in this ensemble film, which follows several couples celebrating as the clock strikes midnight in New York City. The cast includes Broadway veterans Abigail Breslin, Sarah Jessica Parker and Sofia Vergara, plus Halle Berry, Zac Efron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Biel, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel and Hilary Swank.
