The revamped revival of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, starring Tony nominee Harry Connick Jr., Broadway vet David Turner and newcomer Jessie Mueller, officially opens on December 11 at the St. James Theatre.
Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer, On a Clear Day is a newly updated version of the original 1965 Broadway production. The book is rewritten by Peter Parnell, and the production features additional songs from the show's 1970 film adaptation, as well as tunes from original composers Burton Lane and Alan Jay Lerner's film score for Royal Wedding. The revival, set in New York City in 1974, is the story of a no-nonsense psychiatrist who falls head over heels with his male patient’s former self— a magnetic female jazz singer.
On a Clear Day also features Kerry O’Malley, Drew Gehling, Sarah Stiles, Paul O’Brien, Heather Ayers and Lori Wilner. Pick up your tickets today!
