Lysistrata Jones composer Lewis Flinn shares some surprising influences in this Behind the Music video. Flinn lists Katy Perry and Lady Gaga among his inspirations for the pop-tinged score about cheerleaders refusing to bed their basketball player boyfriends until the college team starts scoring. The show, which Flinn co-wrote with his partner Douglas Carter Beane, is based (very) loosely on the Aristophanes comedy and offers up a bright mix of spunky dance numbers and high-powered anthems.
