As Glee celebrated the holiday season on the December 13 episode, “Extraordinary Merry Christmas,” Broadway.com asked readers which of the many Christmas carols the New Directions gang sang ranked as their favorite. The votes are in. Take a look below to find out which tunes fans found the most festive.
1. "Let it Snow," Kurt and Blaine (Chris Colfer and Darren Criss) - 34%
After dueting on a delightful rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" in last season's holiday episode, boyfriend team Kurt and Blaine sang about the dropping temperature yet again with "Let It Snow." Criss is readying to make his Broadway debut on January 3, 2012 in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
2. "All I Want For Christmas is You," Mercedes (Amber Riley) - 17%
Mercedes serenaded her classmates with the Mariah Carey classic "All I Want For Christmas is You" as the New Directions team decorated the choir room. Carey recently performed her hit song at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting this year with another Glee favorite, teen pop star Justin Bieber.
3. "Do They Know It's Christmas? (Feed the World)," New Directions - 9%
The New Directions team came together to give back to the less fortunate by performing the '80s classic at a shelter.
Thanks for voting and happy holidays!
