Tony nominee Kathryn Erbe, Seth Numrich, Noah Galvin and Libby Woodbridge will star in the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's world premiere of Daniel Talbott's Yosemite. Directed by Pedro Pascal, the production begins performances January 18, 2012, with opening night set for January 26.
Yosemite tells the story of three siblings who are sent out into the snow-silent woods in the Sierra Nevada foothills to dig a hole that will be deep enough to bury a family secret. As they dig, they search for a way to escape or be rescued from their lives as the snow continues to fall and the world sinks in around them. Erbe will play Julie, with Numrich taking on the role of Jake and Woodbridge will play Ruby, with Noah Galvin as Jer.
Erbe earned a Tony nomination for Speed of Darkness. Her other Broadway credits include A Month in the Country and The Grapes of Wrath. Erbe is best known for her work on TV's Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Numrich currently stars in Broadway's War Horse. He has also appeared on Broadway in The Merchant of Venice and off-Broadway in Slipping, Blind and Iphigenia 2.0. Galvin has appeared off-Broadway in Our Town and The Burnt Part Boys. Woodbrige's credits include Broadway's Jerusalem and off-Broadway's Gabriel.
Yosemite will feature set design by Raul Abrego, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Joel Moritz and sound design by Janie Bullard.
