You never know who you may run into at a Broadway musical, especially during the holidays! On December 30, the audience at megahit Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark included a pop star and a politician—specifically Rob Thomas and Chris Christie. The Matchbox 20 frontman and New Jersey Governor (a super-fan of Bruce Springsteen, in case you didn't know) made their way to the Foxwoods Theatre for a special Friday matinee of the show. Bono wasn't on hand, but the celeb guests were delighted to step backstage after the performance and say hello to Spidey stars Reeve Carney and Matthew James Thomas, who traded off duties in the title role during the show's record-shattering nine-performance holiday week. Thanks for coming to Broadway, Rob and Governor Christie!
