Presidents, Protests and Prophecies Are Front Page in NEWSical The Musical: End of the World Edition

NEWSical the Musical, the topical off-Broadway comedy written by Rick Crom, will debut a new set of news stories beginning February 1 at Theatre Row. Directed by Mark Waldrop, NEWSical the Musical: End of the World Edition will continue to star Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway), Christina Bianco, Michael West, John Walton West, Amy Griffin and Tommy Walker.  

From Occupy Wall Street to the 2012 Presidential Election, the national fight for marriage equality to the Mayan calendar, Ashton and Demi and the end of soaps, all the biggest pop culture and political stories of the year are brought center stage in this latest edition of NEWSical.

The creative team for NEWSical the Musical: End of the World Edition includes musical direction by Ed Goldschneider, set design by Jason Courson and lighting design by Josh Starr.
