Tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre Company revival of Edward Albee’s 1977 drama, The Lady From Dubuque. Directed by David Esbjornson, the production stars Jane Alexander, with Michael Hayden, Peter Francis James, Catherine Curtin, Laila Robins, Thomas Jay Ryan and C.J. Wilson. The Lady From Dubuque begins previews on February 14 and opens on March 5. The show is the inaugural production at End Stage Theatre at off-Broadway’s new Signature Center.
The Lady From Dubuque centers around a late night party hosted by a couple, complete with a rousing game of Twenty Questions. When an unfamiliar guest and her date show up, the casual game takes on a desperate, new meaning.
The creative team for The Lady From Dubuque includes scenic design by John Arnone, costume design by Elizabeth Hope Clancy, lighting design by David Lander, sound design by John Gromada and fight direction by Rick Sordelet.
