Go Behind the Scenes at MCC’s Updated Carrie, Starring Marin Mazzie and Molly Ranson

Based on Stephen King’s horrific novel, Carrie the musical has not played in front of New York audiences since its infamously short Broadway run in 1988. Now 24 years later, MCC is bringing a new, updated Carrie to the Lucille Lortel Theatre beginning January 31. This resurrected Carrie stars three time Tony-nominee Marin Mazzie and newcomer Molly Ranson and features a new, updated score by Michael Gore and Dean Pitchford and a revised book by the film’s screenwriter Lawrence D. Cohen.
