Angela Lansbury knows her way around the Great White Way. With a career that has spanned eight decades, the five-time Tony Award-winning actress (for Mame, Dear World, Gypsy, Sweeney Todd and Blithe Spirit) is headed back to Broadway on March 6 in Gore Vidal's The Best Man. As she preps for her latest role, Lansbury enjoyed a night out at Circle in the Square on January 24 among the youthful cast of Godspell. After the performance, Hunter Parrish, Telly Leung, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Wallace Smith and the rest of the company prepared the way for their legendary guest with an excitement that was palpable. (Lansbury’s brother, Edgar, a lead producer of the original Broadway production 40 years ago, is also a producer of the revival.) Click below to check out the photos from this holy night.
