This week, Broadway.com’s Gotta Dance! series pays tribute to Allyson Carr, an eye-catching dancer in the Mamma Mia! ensemble. Carr, who is best known for her gravity-defying leaps onstage at the Winter Garden Theatre, made her Broadway debut in the hit ABBA tuner. After getting her start in Staten Island, the dancing diva attended the famous LaGuardia High School before hitting it big on the Main Stem. Click below to watch Carr bust a move in these glittering photos by Matthew Murphy, then check out her disco steps in person at Mamma Mia!
Watch the video below to find out how Carr went from dancing on coffee tables to performing on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre.
