Julie Reiber and Adam Lefevre will join the cast of Broadway’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert on February 6 at the Palace Theatre. Reiber assumes the role of Marion, Tick’s (Will Swenson) estranged wife, while Lefevre takes over as Bob, Bernadette’s (Tony Sheldon) love-interest. Reiber replaces Jessica Phillips, who departs Priscilla to star opposite Raul Esparza in the upcoming musical Leap of Faith.
Priscilla Queen of the Desert tells the story of three best friends (Swenson, Sheldon and Nick Adams) on a wild road trip across The Outback. Adapted from the film of the same name, Priscilla features over 500 dazzling costumes and a hit songs including “It’s Raining Men,” “Material Girl” and “I Will Survive."
Reiber appeared on Broadway in Wicked, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, All Shook Up and Brooklyn. Lefevre's Broadway credits include Mamma Mia!, Footloose and Guys and Dolls. His TV and film appearances include Recount, HBO’s Empire Falls, The Ref, Fools Gold and She’s Out of My League.
